Our Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation and Special Spaces have once again filled a home with endless amounts of happiness for a child and family-in-need.
Gavin, an extraordinary 10 year old, was diagnosed at just four months old with infantile spasms – a form of epilepsy, and by age three, the family was informed that he had Autism. Earlier this year, Gavin was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Even through all the heartbreaking news from the doctors, his family continues to radiate with positivity, strength and admirable spirit.
On July 26, Special Spaces and a team of Coldwell Banker volunteers worked together to create a dream bedroom for Gavin which incorporated all of his eclectic interests: trains, planes, cows and geese. The family was moved beyond words at the reveal.
Watch the video above to see all the amazing highlights from the makeover and how something as simple as a new room can have a significant impact on a sick child’s life.
Thank you all for your continuous support. It is because of you that we are able to bring joy and wonderful memories to children like Gavin!
